Cinnamon leaf essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the cinnamon tree by steam distillation. The leaves are collected, cleaned and then dried to reduce their moisture content. The leaves are then placed in a distillation apparatus where they are treated with steam. The heat causes the essential oils in the leaves to be released, and together with the steam, they are sent to a condenser, where they cool down and turn into a liquid. The resulting liquid is separated and the essential oil is bottled.
Always follow the recommended dosage and dilution rates as essential oils are very concentrated and powerful.
